Wooden Stars 03:57
I’m flying high beneath the lightbulb sun But I came too close so crashed out on the rug My ship is blown the bricks are everywhere A dusty creature came by to stop and stare Help me! I don’t have the key Won’t you help me? Up there it’s said to be A host of wooden stars guide your way home Saturn’s rings and Mars of styrofoam Through window in to night For your final starry flight Open it, you’ll find your way home The creature brought to the Queen of Lampshade And she told me the pieces that I need are deep within that cave So I journeyed on and found the massive trunk A man stood guard made of rolled paper, cloth and gum A host of wooden stars guide your way home Saturn’s rings and Mars of styrofoam Through window in to night For your final starry flight Open it, you’ll find your way home Help me! I don’t have the key Won’t you help me? In there it’s said to be I peer inside, find the pieces that I need And deep in the corner, the key that sets me free The window now open, to access the night Fix up my ship, and blast into flight A host of wooden stars guide your way home Saturn’s rings and Mars of styrofoam Through window in to night For your final starry flight Open it, you’ll find your way home A host of wooden stars guide your way home Saturn’s rings and Mars of styrofoam Through window in to night For your final starry flight Hopefully you’ll find your way home

Snow Day! 03:34
Forecast shows 12 inches of snow Must be lake effect from Ontario I got my pencil in the freezer and it’s getting cold That’s how these winters always go The plows come in, but they can’t keep up My theory and suspicion’s not just based off luck The weather man says driving’s gonna be tough As the news comes through that I can’t get enough - let it snow I don’t care ‘cause I got a snow day Let my obligations go I don’t care ‘cause I got a snow day It can wait ‘till tomorrow I think I’ll build a snowman And call him Jeffrey Or Jimbo Or Jeff Or Jim! Or Jefferson Who knows? The sun beats down through winter’s trees The pines look like they're made of vanilla ice cream Trekking through the woods at least knee deep The next adventure is wherever you seek Cars all over the side of the road There’s some old guy yelling he forgot his phone And the rest of the world is a swirly ice globe Something only us up north kids know - let it snow I don’t care ‘cause I got a snow day Let my obligations go I don’t care ‘cause I got a snow day It can wait ‘till tomorrow Yo, who wants to go sledding? Sledding’s awesome Until you hit the car That’s not as fun

Taking out by layer, Incision by incision. Neatly winding down To reveal heaving sanctum. The final draw finds its mark, Granting ingress to your Smoke-filled room, baleful and rotten. Smut seeps from the stroke, Dissipating into the Nothingness of clemency. Loving laceration, Permit giving quarter To a whited sepulcher. Expel my harbored agony Into the home of memories Long forgotten. Selective severing of careless Blunders and broken bonds. Freeing me in ignorance, Birthing my patchwork dream Of a preferred realization of you

Out by the island, and what do I see A majestic scaled creature that’s staring at me She glides through the water, sits up on dry land With a puzzled expression, she holds out her hand Under the Queen Sky Under the Queen Sky Throwing caution aside, she began to speak And she told me of her people that dwelled in the deep Large castles so grand made of coral and rock But envious of those made with two legs to walk Under the Queen Sky Under the Queen Sky She said “Won’t you come with me? I can take you there To our land filled with love, Void of sorrow and despair” I kindly declined For I’d surely drown So we shared our final moments As the sun settled down I watched as she dove and disappeared in the waves Back into the sea, her home from which she came But sometimes at night, when I hear the siren’s call I remember her still and the wonder of it all Under the Queen Sky Under the Queen Sky Bye Bye

Ours is the righteous Ours for the taking Ours is the way that these sinners shall know Come to me my children And listen to my teaching For the ways of our people Will not be swayed Keep in mind the usurper The snake and diverger A shepherd with intent To lead our lambs astray Give up your self interest And look toward our fulfillment As our Empire still grows By thousands each day For we, we are the Order With no room for quarter We’ve surpassed most their borders They will soon meet their fate We are the people We are the chosen We are the saints who will lead all mankind We are the power We are the justice We are the Order of man held divine Do you know of these sinners? Dear Creator, how you must loathe them! For they wield a powerful magic Only darkness can create And for this is why we must rid them Take it back for our fellow man Destroy this world of sinners And make them all pay We are the people We are the chosen We are the saints who will lead all mankind We are the power We are the justice We are the order of man held divine In the outskirts of the city His head on a pike As a warning to the rest of the Order This is not the end of the fight We are the people We are the chosen We are the saints who will lead all mankind We are the power We are the justice We are the Order of man held divine

I got me a new girlfriend She’s quite the spunky lass There’s just some things about her That I don’t quite understand She really hates the sunlight Stays in the dark all day Sleeps in a dank old coffin But hey she’s really great Wait ‘till ya meet her She’s finally all moved in And she brought along her pet He’s a bat, his name is Alfred He loves scratches on his neck and back She’s also a great lover Always biting at my neck At first it wasn’t really my thing But now I’m kinda into it Wait ‘till you meet her Last weekend we took a trip So I could meet her family It was out in the middle of nowhere Some castle in Germany Everything seemed to go fine Until we got to dinnertime And they served some dude on a platter Used his blood for wine And I said Babe you just can’t do this This shit is real fucked up The plane ride home was awkward ‘Cause she’d seen I’d had enough Soon after we broke up And went our separate ways There was just something about her But I guess it was just a phase Boy, I miss her

When the lights die down on the street It's time to stop and breathe Feelings come and go, but one thing remains There's a message in a bottle That I'm trying to get out But the waves keep sending it back to me No matter how hard I throw Time to clear your mind Let your world unwind Good things come in time But tonight, it's time to walk The wind will always blow harsh Whether late in July or the snow still in March You gotta try to do your part when it's hard I don't speak to a single soul They're on the other side of the road Where I'm going it's lonely and cold Call the darkness my home I'm at least a step closer to my goal But I've gotta go at it alone Time to clear your mind Let your world unwind Good things come in time But tonight, it's time to walk Let it heal your soul Let it's wisdom flow And fill up all you know It's time to walk

Some people live in a fortress To keep the enemy out Behind their walls of empty halls The silence of loneliness falls Some people live for tomorrow Always looking ahead Dreams shaped yesterday crumble away As the sands of time bury today If I could change the world I would make new rules Where tears only fall from laughter A heart can bleed but not break And everyone gives Just a little bit more than they take Some people dwell in their heartache Feelings they understand Afraid to let go from sorrow they know So they can move forward and grow Some people live in the background Safe behind the scenes Their own point of light is lost out of sight Behind stars that brighten in the night If I could change the world I would make new rules Where tears only fall from laughter And everyone gives Just a little bit more than they take If I could change the world I would make new rules Where love truly conquers all And time can heal all wounds Dreams always come true And life doesn't end so soon If I could change the world

Prepare yourself my student, for your final test Your brother’s succumbed to illness, he’s on the verge of death Go to the woods of Caligo, find the esis root Only that will save him, we’re all counting on you My life has now led up to this My path ahead is clear To save the only one in life That I hold so dear And all the things I’ve learned to spell Yet I feel there’s something more I’ve buried deep inside myself A power I can’t ignore The night is black where shadows crawl I’ve learned so much, but there’s more to it all Of bringing the life back into the dead A wondrous cycle that becomes endless
12.
Don’t be alarmed, I’m a supporter of your father You’re the the young Lili Vess, I can tell you’re his daughter The root you are looking for is sadly now turned to ash They just came this way, igniting the glade All that is left are the ashes and the graves Of brave young men who seemed to have met their fate But I need that to save him There must be another way I have to find another root There must be another glade There’s no more root, no other glade So you have but one option You can bring raise the life out of the dead one To make a better concoction In the art of necromancy To save your brothers life It’s the only way you have now Lili You must decide tonight With the root in my hand It glows a gold It takes me to feelings I’ve never known The shadows bend at my will They call my name Now to hurry back There is a life to save
13.
Crashing through the door she goes Up the stairs into his room By his bed there’s crowd Pours the liquid down his mouth Not a drop dribbles out He awakens in a sweat His eyes are black His head is wet from the blood A rage emerges like a flood And the life that once was there is purely gone What have I done? Why is this happening? Brother, will you ever forgive me? What I thought would save you Has turned you dead A raging corpse is all that is left He rushes out and down the stairs Screams are heard from everywhere The blood sprays up on the wall And the heads roll down the hall The undead menace does not fall The spark inside of her ignites And it sends her through the night Into space, out of time Swirling in a ghastly flight ‘Til she lands deep in a swamp
14.
I don’t know where I’m going But I sure know where I’ve been I’m riding down the mountain Moving on to the road ahead So many possibilities Where they’ll lead me, I don’t know So I’ll go where the skies tell me to go Yeah, I'll go where the skies tell me to go
